Protective cover for the chuck of a lathe consisting of a shield sliding over ball bearings and equipped with a safety switch. The screen consists of a steel frame filled with impact-resistant and scratch-free polycarbonate (MJ ... CM) or safety glass (MJ ... CMV). The structure over which the shield glides is adjustable in height and is mounted on the fixed head of the lathe. The screen can be supplied with or without LED lamp (LLS7). This model protects the operator against direct contact with the workpiece, coolant and chips.
